A Quick Look at the History of Sony’s Playstation Portable

From the first portable gamers haven that Sony released to the market, up to the futuristic innovations that had been implied to defeat the contenders, Sony did it all so nice and smoothly.
Let us take a quick look at Sony PSP history:
PSP 1000 (Fat)
June – 2003 when the first concept of Sony portable play station was launched on the market. There are no extensive features but the concept that one can play with its portability makes it famous enough to capture the interest of the public. The launching of the actual product happened on May 2004.
June 2004 – is the month for its international launching which have become so viral to the kids and also for the kids at heart.
March 2005 – is the date for American territory launching. Even if the price is a bit higher compared to its market price in Japan launch, Americans still took the chance to their share of the portable gaming enjoyment with Sony.
PSP 2000 (Slim)
June 2007 – the launching for the 64MB PSP, which supports USB charging an TV-out took a big bite on the budget of many as they were enticed to take a hold of the slim design of the PSP during those times.
PSP 3000
October 2008 – with its latest feature of having a built in Skype messenger, Sony managed to sell 50 million of these gadgets worldwide.
PSP Go
June 2009 – a smaller version of the abovementioned versions is released and took a full domination of the portable gaming world. Features are somewhat ground breaking as well as spectacular which includes major features like, Bluetooth support and 16GB internal memory.
After Sony Pro has been released, Sony finally innovated the PSP to become a Sony PSP2 or Sony NGP. Its arrival to the market received both negative and positive reviews, but it still depends on the end user if what has to be said.
