Sony NGP (also called PSP2 or PSP NGP) vs PSP Go
The Sony PlayStation Portable was released way back in 2004, as it brought a new meaning to the portable games console. With developments, the PSP Go had been launched during the year 2009, which brought some advantages with it. With Sony raring to go with its launch of PSP NGP, and with exciting games to come along with the NGP along with the launch, is the NGP well-devised to outscore PSP Go?
With the quad-core and ARM cortex-A9 CPU, and with the Power graphics processor that is quad-core and which boosts the performance, NGP is certainly scores over the PSP Go, where the PSP Go is fairly beaten as when it comes to the graphics quality or the speed. On the other hand, with the height measuring 2.7 inches, width measuring 5 inches and with a weight of about 160 grams, PSP Go scores over the NGP in the portability factor, and it doesn’t have the physical storage medium also. The NGP is a bigger version, as it also comes with a width measuring 7.2 inches.
As when it comes to the battery life of the handheld gaming consoles, PSP Go that allows 4-7 hours of battery life on a trot scores over PSP NGP, as the NGP is believed to offer a battery life of about 4-5 hours. The new hardware of the NGP has games written for this medium as it doesn’t run on the portable mediums that had come earlier. But NGP extends its compatibility to that of the PSP games that are available at the PlayStation store but do not possess UMD drive.
The NGP has some features that cannot be found in the PSP Go, as the touchpad found on the rear section which gets used to control the action pertaining to games, as other features like the Sixaxis motion, built-in GPS and two analogue sticks are some of the features that are not unveiled by PSP Go. The PSP NGP scores over the PSP Go through the many advanced features unveiled by this model.
