Does PSP2 NGP Have a Future? You Decide!

And so we all heard about Playstation Portable (PSP) successor, the PSP2, which is also codenamed as “NGP” (Next Generation Portable) by Sony, and we’re all excited about it.
But apparently, the CEO and co-founder of Ngmoco, video games publisher for iOS and Android platforms, Neil Young, isn’t so happy about the NGP. He claimed that the NGP doesn’t have a future. He also said casual gamers won’t likely to buy NGP. Of course he’s right on that one, because the PSP’s were never targeted to “casual gamers” in the first place anyway, so why would it be any different for the NGP? But we here at Newpsp2ngp.com think that the NGP’s going to rock! Of course the CEO of Ngmoco don’t think so, since he wants people to forget playing games on awesome handheld consoles like the PSP’s and go play Touch Pets: Dogs on iPhone instead.
In case you guys don’t know, Ngmoco makes games for smartphones like iPhone, and most of the people who get games for their smartphones are casual gamers. It’s a completely different market than the market that the NGP is targeting, if you ask us. So the ‘NGP don’t have a future because iPhone has wider range of apps and games’ talk is pretty much bs if you ask us. We’ll take God of War over GodFinger anytime.
