Sony NGP PSP2 Release Date!

Sony made an announcement about the release of the Next Generation Portable in a live event held in Tokyo, Japan. The long awaited PSP2 was first revealed to the world on Thursday, back in January the 27th, 2011 by Sony. However, rumors about the development of Sony NGP has surfaced as early as July 7, 2009.

Sony mentioned that they are expecting to launch the new entertainment gaming console by the end of 2011 in at least one region of the world. As, Sony always releases its new products from Japan which is also considered as the home region of Sony, it was expected that the newest gaming console, the PSP2 will also be launched first in the Japan.

The teaser of the Next Generation Portable has clearly depicted that this device has the power to shake the gaming world from the enormous features it will have. With the simple message that “The Power is now in your hands” Sony left gamers thinking that what will be the new product that will allow you to have life-time gaming experiences as well as connectivity, music and a lot more stuff.

The next teaser revealed pictures of the device along with features, which is in oval shaped, with 5-inches OLED, high resolution graphics, Wi-Fi connectivity, 3g, GPS, dual analog stick, front and rear touch pads, 3 axis electronic compass, motion sensory system, microphones, front and rare cameras and new game media. This 58 second teaser produced by Sony explains each and very facility of PSP2 and lets gamers anxiously waiting for this new device by Sony.

The newest update from Sony is that Sony NGP will be released during Q4 2011 in North America as well as Japan. However, Sony NGP will be released in Europe in February or March next year (2012).
